Here l'll try to explain how to make a pocket in
a shirt that is suitable for an insulinepump Meditronic 640G.
Je ziet op de foto er zijn 3 lapjes
nodig
A
Bovenste lapje = achterkant zak : 9 bij 13 cm
B
Linker lapje = Bovendeel zakje voor : 9 cm bij 15 cm
C
Rechter lapje = Onderste deel zakje voor : 9 bij 17 cm
+ D 1 fusible tricot interfacing of plakvlieseline.
You need 3 pieces of tricotcloth and 1piece of
interfacing
A Top cloth = Backside of the pocket: 9 cm
/ 13cm
B Left piece = top part of the pocket: 9
cm / 15 cm
C right piece = bottom part of the pocket:
9 cm / 17 cm
+ D 1 fusible tricot interfacing or thin plakvlieseline,
Deze 3

In het
bovenste lapje A wordt nu ook een knoopsgat gemaakt van 2 à.3 cm met stukje
solublevlies als ondersteuning (het
witte dat je ziet )
De andere 2 lapjes B en C worden dubbel
gevouwen.

In
piece A you make a buttonhole now of 2.3 cm at the bottom right or left side .
You can see
l used soluble fleece on this buttonhole.(It is not washed out yet).
The other 2 pieces B and Cwill be folded.
Leg de drie lapjes nu op elkaar!
Lapje A met
de verkeerde kant naar boven,
Nu leg je C,
met de vouw, rechts onderaan op lap A
Daarna lapje B links met de vouw op en over C.
Die 2 bovenste lapjes B en C overlappen elkaar 3 cm
anders risico dat pomp eruit valt.
Now we put the 3 parts together:

on top of that put folded C on the right
and then B to the left over A and partly
C.
B overlaps C about 3 cm, if not the pump will fall out of the pocket!
Rijg die op elkaar opdat het niet kan verschuiven
tijdens het naaien, met bv. de grootste steek op de naaimachine.
Baste together with the biggest stitch on the machine or by hand. Use a
tricot needle.
De zijnaad van het hemdje wordt nu een stukje losgetornd, begin ongeveer 8cm van onderkant hemdje.
The sideseam
will now be opened, start about 8 cm from the bottom of the shirt.
Tip: Als je het
zakje rechts wilt hebben dan aan de goede (buiten) kant een speld erin steken
ter controle!
Advice:
for control put on the right side of the shirt a needle where you want to put the pocket.
Aan de binnenkant van het hemd is versteviging
gestreken.
At the inside of the shirt the tricot interfacing is ironed on.
Het z.g “left over” deel is 7 bij 11 cm, knip de hoekjes heel precies in.
The “left over”part is 7 bij 11 cm, make incisions in both corners very precisely.
Neem het driedelige zakje en legt dat met de goede kant naar boven op tafel. Daarop leg je dan op het shirt met de goede kant het zakje. Nu speld en rijg je het shirt op de zak.
Put the prepared pocket with the right side up on the table and put the shirt with the right side on top of the pocket. Pin and baste it.
Stik het zakje vast met een stretchsteek
en werk af met zigzag.
Sluit dan de zijnaad en
Klaar!!
Stitch the pocket with a stretchstitch
and close the sideseam.

Al anderhalf jaar maak ik dit zakje en de ervaring is dat het prima werkt! it works well
